Q: What are your hours of operation? A: We are open Monday through Friday 8AM- until ?. Our evening hours are flexible to meet patient needs. We are closed on most major holidays.
Q: What types of services do you offer? A: OrthoGo Physical Therapy provides care for a wide variety of orthopaedic, bone, joint, muscular and neurological problems including functional assessment and rehabilitation for activities of daily living, industrial and sports applications. Q: Do I need a physician's referral to be seen by a Physical Therapist? A: No. Illinois law permits evaluation by a Licensed Physical Therapist without a physician's referral. However continued treatment does require either a referral or a documented medical diagnosis, relating to the problem, along with notification of your physician. Q: Will my insurance pay for my treatments? A: In most cases, yes. It is important that you consult your individual policy for specifics regarding coverage. Q: Do you accept my insurance? A: OrthoGo is an "in-network" provider for several different insurance plans. You may want to consult your plan to determine coverage available to you. If we are an "out-of-network" provider your coverage benefits may vary. In any case we will work with you and your insurance carrier.
Q: Do you accept Public Aid or Illinois "All Kids" insurance plans? A: No, unfortunately we are unable to accept these plans. Q: I was hurt at work. Do you bill Workman's compensation? A: Yes. Once coverage is determined all bills will be forwarded to that insurance provider. Q: My personal injury case is in litigation. Will you bill my attorney? A: Sorry, no. We do not bill attorneys. Each case is judged independently. We will bill the "responsible" Insurance carrier and if necessary place a lien on the case if that is appropriate. In any case a specific patient payment plan will be established and all unpaid charges are the responsibility of the patient.
Q: Are there any restrictions for pool use? A: Yes. We ask that each client have good basic bodily hygiene. Also absolutely NO OPEN WOUNDS or clients with INCONTINENCE issues are permitted in the pool.
Q: Is the pool open for public use? A: No. The pool is only available for current Orthogo patients at this time.
Q: Do I need a physicians referral for the PAR Golf Program? A: Only if it is determined that you require Physical Therapy treatment to participate due to a specific problem. However it is always advised that one receive a "clean bill of health" before beginning any exercise regimen. Q: What benefits, as an employer, would I see by utilizing your industrial program? A: Functional Job Analysis tells you what physical abilities are required to perform a specific job. Pre-work Screens make sure a prospective hire can do a given job. Both of these areas plus instructional classes for your employees on safe lifting/ carrying and ergonomics may result in a discounted premium from your workman?s comp carrier. In any case our industrial programs will save you money over all by reducing your employee injury related costs.
